Project: London is an advocacy project, established in 2006 that provides information, advice and practical assistance to vulnerable people to help them access NHS and other services. Project:London’s volunteers team provide basic healthcare in the interim period, until these people reach mainstream services. Project:London’s clinic is currently open on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 1pm to 6pm. Although the assistance to vulnerable people starts at the clinic, our P:L objectives are met by the considerable amount of work “behind the scenes”. We therefore require help for office based case management of service users who have visited Project:London.
The responsibilities of the case support worker include: • Calling and Advocating mainstream NHS services on behalf of Project:London service users • Accompanying service users to registration appointments • Updating service users on progress
