'Where do I start?' and 'What can I do?'

These are the most common questions we are asked. A lot will depend on you, your circumstances, desire and motivation. Most people call or email the first charity that springs to mind. In most cases these are well-known agencies who have a high public profile. Many people are referred to us from Oxfam, the Red Cross, CAFOD, etc and perhaps that's how you found us.

You can read more about us by clicking the 'about' link above, but simply we are the only specialist information charity providing information about opportunities in Development.

You have started a voyage of discovery finding out how you can volunteer or work overseas and we can help you.

World Service Enquiry has over 30 years experience of talking to people just like you. Below you will find a simple list showing our relevant services and publications. If you want to know more you could send a short email to wse@wse.org.uk or you can call our helpline Tuesday to Friday between 2pm-4pm and talk to one of our consultants tel: 0870 770 3274
